Hi! I’m Agui, a senior media professional with 21 years of experience deeply rooted in China’s cosmetics industry.
Before 2003, I worked at Phoenix TV. In March 2004, I entered the Chinese cosmetics industry and founded my own company. What began as a magazine has since evolved into a multi-platform media business — from WeChat Official Accounts and video content to our own independent website.
Today, we serve over 200,000 retail outlets (including cosmetics stores, beauty salons, hair salons, and supermarkets), along with 5,600 manufacturers, 30,000 brand owners, 13,000 raw material suppliers, and 35,000 packaging suppliers.
We have become a vital information hub for China’s cosmetics industry.
A Story of Global Collaboration
In June 2024, an old friend, Ms. Huang, reached out and asked for my help in bringing the shampoo brand Bawang into the Canadian market. Only then did I realize she was helping a Canadian supermarket chain source products from China.
With over one million Chinese residents in Canada, heritage Chinese brands such as Bawang, Pehchaolin, and Pian Zai Huang are quite popular — and increasingly, non-Chinese consumers are embracing these products too.

In March 2025, Ms. Huang contacted me again. She needed our help to introduce the top 5 brands sold on major Chinese e-commerce platforms — all of which happen to be our clients.
To facilitate this, we organized a matchmaking event. Ms. Huang’s business partner in Canada, Henry, flew to Guangzhou, where we arranged face-to-face meetings with brand representatives.
They finalized collaborations with ten leading brands:
- SukGarden — No.1 in China’s mid-to-high-end laundry detergent beads
- FLORTTE — top girls’ color cosmetics brand, popular in Japan and Southeast Asia
- Dr. Alva — pioneer of micro-ecological skincare in China
- DearIrean
- Dr. DH
- KIMTRUE
- Spes — No.1 brand in oil-control and volumizing shampoos
- WATERCOME
- Roopy
- Kustie
Henry was deeply impressed by how precisely and efficiently we connected him with high-quality Chinese brands — exactly what our team does best.
Expanding Horizons
Recently, Ms. Huang reached out again, sharing that she is preparing to negotiate deals for products that are best-sellers in leading Chinese retailers such as Pang Dong Lai and Sam’s Club.
She also mentioned that the “Bense En” fragrance brand, which she previously introduced to Canada, is projected to generate over 2 million USD in remittances this year.
Through our collaboration, I’ve started paying close attention to the North American and global cosmetics markets.
In recent years, I have visited the United States, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Indonesia, and Vietnam, among others.
Everywhere I go, I can clearly sense a transformation — China’s cosmetics industry is shifting from “Made in China” to “Chinese Brands Going Global.”
With better quality and stronger service, Chinese cosmetics are ready to shine on the international stage.
